The weight distribution is unique to this bar. Training with the a Safety Squat bar is known to tax your anterior chain; the weight distribution falls between the front squat and the high-bar back squat to vary your power output training. This bar is an alternative option for intense squat progressions or maximum load lifts. Traditionally squat bars are known to increase your maximum working weight when compared to the traditional back squat.

*This bar has a powder coated finish on the body. The sleeves are chromed and machined to accommodate all olympic plates. Loading with plates will cause the finish on the sleeves to wear.
